Learning from the Life and Teachings of Prophet Muhammad

Hadith provides learners with an opportunity to understand the words, actions and approvals of Prophet Muhammad  and how his teachings can guide everyday life.

Our Hadith studies are not approached simply as lessons to memorise. Learners are encouraged to understand the meaning behind what they study and consider how the teachings of the Prophet can influence their character, relationships, decisions and responsibilities.

Connecting Knowledge to Everyday Life

Students explore teachings relating to areas such as good character, kindness, honesty, patience, respect, responsibility and relationships with others.

The objective is to help learners understand that Islamic knowledge should be reflected in how a Muslim lives.

Learners are encouraged to ask:

What does this Hadith teach me?

How can I practise this teaching?

How should this knowledge influence my behaviour?

Developing Understanding and Character

Through studying Hadith, learners gain greater familiarity with the guidance of Prophet Muhammad  while discovering practical lessons that can be applied at home, at school, within friendships and throughout the wider community.

Lessons are presented in a way that helps students connect Islamic teachings with situations they may encounter in their daily lives.

Learning to Live What We Learn

Knowledge becomes more meaningful when it influences character and action.

Our aim is therefore to help learners appreciate Hadith not merely as information from the past, but as guidance that can continue shaping their lives today.

Learn the teachings. Understand their meaning. Carry them into everyday life.
